I bought this toy for my baby when she was about 5 months old. She learned very quickly that she could use it as a drum or shaker to make noise. She's now 16 months old and she still likes to play with this toy. It's educational, fun, durable (she's stepped/stood on it numerous times) and you will get your moneys worth.

These drums are fun for all ages. My toddler and my infant son fight over this constantly. They love to bang on and shake it. I will say this is very durable, as many times as I have to yell "Don't step on the drum" lol its held it's own in our house. I even catch my husband playing it. I would highly recommend this for your music set or just for fun.
