Yes, this plastic case will most likely extend the useful life of that iPad mini. Bright blue shines in the dark; fit is so tight I don't know if the mini will ever escape; handles enough for an octopus to be satisfied. One handed operation provides safe extreme framing, both in the vertical and the horizontal. The plastic frame is camera friendly, only wayward fingers ever obscuring the lens. Plus when I'm lying on my back, reading the screen, the frame can be turned upside down thus placing the middle handle on my chest and immediately improving my perspective. A solid alternative use to that advertised and fully endorsed by me.

I have a 17 month old baby boy and this allows him to hold the ipad mini with ease and he has dropped it several times while toddling around, and it keeps the ipad mini all in one piece. Side handles are the best especially when we reading together while lying down. Only problem is the crevice for the earphone plug is too snug making it hard to pkug and unplug. Otherwise, the rest is all great. And the blue color is perfect with the white ad mini.
