I thought this would tell the whole Elf story just in a children's version or with music...it's very very short and kind of indirect. My 5 and 6 yo girls love it ! If your getting this book , go buy the doll and you will not be disappointed . There is a dvd and doll set , it makes for a great motivator and fun for the kids .
