This toy was smaller that I expected it to be. I bought it for my 3 year old who is fascinated by violins. I bought one and my husband bought him another brand. He gives this one slightly more attention. He likes the songs on the violin. The only drawback is that I was disappointed in the size when I opened it and thought that the price indicated something a little more realistic. I would give it 3 1/2 instead of 3 if I could.

After my 7 year old started taking guitar lessons, my 5 year old decided she wanted to start taking violin lessons. She asked for almost nothing else this past Christmas. I was hard-pressed to find a toy violin, but when I stumbled on to this one, I had to have it. Turns out, it's a great, toy. My daughter loves it. Of course, it's purple too...her favorite.
