I was recently in Africa & found a porcupine quill on the ground on a walking safari in a national park. I picked it up but was later told that I could not remove it from the park so I left it at the lodge. I really liked the look & feel of the quill & decided to see if I could find one at home. I now have one and will mount it somehow along with some pictures I took on the safari.
