I bought these for use on the fridge and as a replacement for plastic.
They are indeed wood, but I will say they are not sealed paint and are rather thin. They are fine for a bigger child, but you do not want these in your toddlers mouth.
They arrive in a cellophane bag directly from asia. Shipping was unexpectedly fast for the distance.
