I originally wasn't interested in a Leapfrog system because I thought that it was a "babysitter"--let the child play with it instead of reading to him or her. But I have found that my children use it not for reading, but rather for learning new vocabulary and concepts.
My only complaint is that it goes through batteries quickly.This was such a GREAT deal with all that was included! My son is very excited, thank you very much!
