These magnets are great for small hands because of the large handles. With younger students you can hide items like large washers or metal jar lids in packing peanuts to have them explore with magnets in the science area without having to worry about choking hazards. Bought these for my daycare they are sturdy and easy for little hands to hold. They are not super strong, but I didn't want them to be I use them for ages 2-4. Learning Resources always has great stuff! Thanks Amazon!
