I teach an integrated classroom of typical students and students with special needs (aged 2.5 to 5) and they all loved it. It engaged the students with fine motor and cognitive delays and they had much success with working the gears. There were also both boys and girls who were older than the target audience that enjoyed playing with itthey especially liked the moving ears. The toy was easy to clean, and still functions after the bleaching and rough play. I would prefer that the removable plastic pieces were solid and heavier for use in the classroom, but at home it is fine. I look forward to trying other toys from Mirari!Best Deals for Mirari Busy Buddy Toy
I just received this for my 17 month old daughter and she LOVES it. She's at the age where she's able to work on the shape sorting gears but I think it's great for younger ages too without that component. My (almost) 4 year old also loves to play with this.Honest reviews on Mirari Busy Buddy Toy
My 19 month old son received this toy and it is a big hit. I like the learning opportunities in this toy. I like that he can learn about shapes, colors, movement and dexterity. I also like that it doesn't require any batteries! The Busy Buddy feels well constructed and durable. Also the colors are vibrant. The largest drawback to this toy is that pieces can easily get lost if not being constantly supervised. I would also recommend this toy for an older age range starting at about 15 months. Overall, I think my son will enjoy this toy for a long time.I received this toy from Patch Products, all opinions are my own.
