While the workmanship of this product leaves something to be desired, the flame produced is hot and the valve seals perfectly. Using LPG/Propane, the flame has slightly orange tips, even with the air valve completely open, indicating that inadequate oxygen is being mixed with the fuel. However, heated objects are not blackened, so this is of little consequence for most purposes. Overall, it is a great deal compared to the other burners available for sale on Amazon.

I order this Bunsen burner for the first time in my life to make some chemistry experiments with my nephew and it works really great, there is no leak in the valve or anything. the reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the hole was damage but with a needle I fix it and it works awesome.
