Everything was packed well in styrofoam and plastic bags. It was easily assembled, and worked the first time. My only problem is that the manual was for Model N-117M, which is not a trinoc. I was able to get in touch with an Amscope rep via email. He answered my questions promptly, and things worked like he said.
