I bought this game to play with my niece and nephews. It was so much fun to play with them, running around with Woody and Bullseye and tagging the Friends: Jessie, Hamm, Rex and Buzz.
There are four different games: Runaround Roundup, Group Runaround Roundup, Treasure Hunt, and Memory Roundup and different levels of play 1-4.
You can play to beat your own time or to beat someone else's time. Our favorite was Treasure Hunt. Player One would close their eyes while Player Two would hide the friends while the game counted off for ten seconds and then announced "Ready or not here we come!" Then the western roundup music plays while Player One finds and tags the Friends.
Different clues are given for each level, with each next level to include clues from previous levels. The number of friends you have to tag also increases with each level.
Level 1: Rex!; Jessie!; Hamm!, Buzz Lightyear!
Level 2: "B" is for Buzz Lightyear; "R" is for Rex; "H" is for Hamm; "J" is for Jessie
Level 3: Who has a pink nose? Who wears a red hat? Who has a green tail?
Who wears a white spacesuit?
Level 4: Who is a space ranger? Who is a dinosaur? Who is a piggybank? Who is a yodeling cowgirl?
After you are done tagging, Woody announces the time you did it in, with cute phrases such as: Yee-haw, you did it in thirteen seconds! Way to go deputy, you did it in twelve seconds! Great job buckaroo, you did it in sixteen seconds! The longest time I've ever heard it announce was: Great job buckaroo, you did it in 99 seconds! After a couple of minutes the game turns off by itself.
I got this game on a goldbox deal for half off, but after having played it, I would not hesitate to pay list price to get it for a gift. I would recommend it for a Toy Story themed birthday party.
Pros: Educational, Fun, Exercise, Family-friendly, Adaptable, Affordable, Problem-solving, Memory, Multiple players
Cons: Sometimes the characters fall over if you tag them too quickly and not precisely.

This game teaches memory skills, character identification, and it entertains my preschooler for hours. Even when she is not playing the game, she uses the figures to play make believe. Very durable and easy to learn how to play.
