We purchased this drum for our kids because, like many children, they love to "drum" on everything. The drum gives beautiful, rich sound, even for a beginner, without any practice or experience. It is well made, sturdy and frankly, beautiful. I would highly recommend this drum to anyone.

While this drum is specifically designed for children, I must say it is a great drum for any age. I purchased this one and a larger sized one for my high school students to use in class. They are wonderfully durable and have a very professional sound. We use them for theatre productions where we need "real drums" and the sound is great. You won't be disappointed.

We used this the first time in our music class, and my 10-month old had such a ball with it, we decided to get it for him for his birthday. It is at perfect standing height for him now, and I am sure it will grow with him. (there are kids up to 4 years old in music class, and they seemed to all have a ball with this drum) I can't wait until it arrives!

I purchased this drum for my 2 year old granddaughter. It's a little heavy for her to carry, but she loves making sounds with it. The quality is good, and the bright colors make it very attractive.
