It's beautiful and fun to use, but also carries with it a certain kind of power -or maybe that's just the kid in me remembering experiences with thunder and feeling my guts tingle. Very poor quality sound, not much volume either. Very much overpriced. Would not buy another one at any price. Period.

This little cylinder just amazes everyone. They pick it up and wiggle it and this HUGE rumble comes out of the cardboard tube. It's like "the mouse that roared". I keep it on a shelf in the living room and people of all ages just get a kick of playing with it. I'm 70 years old and my 5 year old grand-daughter and I enjoy giving it a shake now and thenjust for kicks. My son is a song writer and he has used it for an interesting background effect on a recent music recording. No home is complete without oneespecially if you have a sense of fun and play.
