The Dinoco tractor trailer seems to be well made, though the back door that opens to allow The King to ride into the trailer is REALLY difficult to open. So difficult in fact, when I first opened the toy to inspect it, I started to doubt whether or not it's supposed to open. I had to go back to my computer to check the product description and pictures to confirm that it, in fact, is supposed to open. I don't think a toddler can open it by him/herself. Certainly my 4 year-old cannot do it. It took my husband and me several tries before we could even do it and even then, it was very difficult, because there's not lever or handle to pull the door open. You have to hold the trailer top with one hand, while the other hand tries to pry the door open. Maybe as the boys play with it more, it will loosen up, but it's certainly very frustrating for the child to not be able to open it him/herself. And guess who has the privilege of trying to open it thirty-million times a day? That's right, the parent! Well, that was not going to work for me, so I put a 3M sticky note flag on the door, so now the kids can open and close the door at their leisure.
