I added this to my cart to make the $25 super saver shipping. I was not expecting it to be a show stopper for Christmas, but my 9 year old, who loves all things related to geology, loved it. It was a very big hit. the pictures are clear and the descriptions of the rocks and minerals are quite detailed.

My grandson was into rocks and minerals...he ate breakfast off this placemat until he moved it up to his room so he could read it at night! Super.

our kids really like these themed place mats.

Based on the fact that they sit down to eat a couple of times every day they have a look at these sets, which is a basic way of memorizing things (repetition).

Since we have several of these we went to hanging those not at the talbe in line at the wall in their play room.

With the b/w blanc backside they can see how much they know, which they do occasionally (specifically for the geography sets)

Stones set doesn't have as much information as some other sets...
