We are a homeschooling family and I got these to help my early reader do some independent activities while I am busy with something else. He enjoys putting them together, saying the words and sentences and then making his own by mixing up some of the letters.
It is a 2 sided puzzle. One side is the word, the other side is a silly sentence. The sentence part is by far the biggest hit. It comes in a nice case to keep them together and to protect them and they are thickly made so they look like they should last a while.
I got these when they were marked down super low, so they were a great value to us and a great extension to our school day. We got both the long and short vowel set.There are many silly sentences depending on the pairings of the cards. It is funny, but we cannot play more than 10-15 minutes before he gets bored.
