I ordered this product to use in my high school resource room. I also gave two of the sets to my nephews; I gave my brother-in-law a wooden set, and thought his sons would like the plastic sets so they could challenge him. Out of the five sets, two had incorrect pieces. However, when I called the company, they were wonderful and sent me a new set of five. So I would definitely do business with them again. Tangrams are challenging, but a great mind exercise.

I bought these for my eight year old at the suggestion of his teacher. He is working on hand eye coordination skills and fine motor tuning. Nice size durable plastic pieces. Easy to pick up and handle. I wish I had realized it was FIVE packs of seven pieces though. I've got three extra sets since I gave a set to the younger brother!

I bought this for both my sons 8 and 6 yrs. They enjoyed these I am still waiting for the book to come. They are wonderful.

It would be great if this toy came with some Tangram patterns to do that this set would be able to follow. That being said, they are very inexpensive, so maybe a book could be recommended that would go with them. My biggest frustration with tangrams is finding puzzles for the kids to lay the pieces on top of to give them an opportunity to figure them out a bit.
