This habitat is perfect for raising butterflies. It comes as a single piece that pops up and stays rigid, and is perfect for viewing the maturing of the butterflies. The habitat also arrived with a dropper. I bought this for my son's preschool and I anticipate they will love it.
One thing to be aware of, and that I didn't completely understand from the description for this product, is you need to order the larvae separately. The butterfly habitat arrived containing no information about doing this, you just have to go yourself and place the order for the larvae. I had to contact the seller to obtain this information. They referred me to Amazon product number B002C3R182.
Overall, well worth the money and it will be great for the kids.
