It is a selenite tower and probably gave the dimensions. It came, however, much smaller than I was expecting and it is shedding from where it was cut into tower form. It's really kind of cheap and not worth the price. My local crystal store has larger selenite bars, wands, towers, etc. for much cheaper and they don't shed flakes of the selenite. It's like white sawdust is continuously falling from it. Since you can't clean these in water, that proposes a frustration and mess that is not easily fixed. It's pretty and I believe it to be selenite, but the quality is not fabulous by any stretch.

I love these towers. They are large enough to have a presence. The packaging was excellent and the 4 towers arrived in great condition. The price is better than any in town including the shipping cost.
