this is our first book we bought, i see there's a lot of pages and that's great

and i like there's a lot of education about different kind of animals and that's what i'm looking for

This book is adorable and packed with great songs, animal sounds, age appropriate facts, catchy rhymes, and colorful illustrations. I'll try to post a photo of the last page as it's super cute with all of the animals together. This is a great choice for a child on the younger end of Tag Jr's recommended age, and even though my 2.5 year old loves it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for a 1 year old either. (I'm only adding that not because it wouldn't be enjoyed by older toddlers but because I first bought the Tag Jr system when my baby was just 1, and always looked to reviews to see if she was too young to enjoy it. She did like it at 1 for sure esp the Scout book but this animals book would have been a hit too. At 2.5, she's really enjoying Tag Jr even more and this book in particular. The only negative I could note is that the pages have a little bit of a grainy/electronic not very crisp -look to them probably something so the pen reads something from the pages but it was more pronounced with this book than with some of the others (but obviously nothing that bothered by baby it was just interesting to me). I definitely recommend this one, ESP if your child likes songs. We love the Scout one too. I think the Curious George one is boring but my baby loves that one too. :). Oh and the Thomas the Train one is the only one we didn't like despite having a Thomas obsession.

Very well laid out, lots of interaction with the Tag Pen, and I absolutely love the list of animals in the back so it's really easy to see them all and talk about them with the kids.

Great book, and one of the must buy for the Tag collection.

We got this book for our niece for Christmas and she loves it. Adorable illustrations throughout. The interactivity with the Tag Junior reader is educational too. Not only does it read the text of the book, but it also teaches what all the different baby animals are called, and will prompt the child to mimic the sounds of those animals. If you've got a Tag Junior, I can easily recommend adding this title to your collection!

In general, all tag junior books are great. They are all board books which prevents tods from tearing the pages. The pages seems harder to flip in the beginning.

One good suggestion is, when you buy the tag junior, I bought the pen version (tag), instead of the snowman version (tag jr). The pen has larger storage and it could be used with the tag books.
