works good if you want it to travel with you in the vehicle. it is very small for it's purpose. I am not sure why it was made so small because for the shape I would have thought that it would be bigger. It is ok.

Looking at the product photo (zoomed in) and the manufacturer's product description ("Colorful wooden beads can slide around a blue wire over and over as there is no end to this maze") I was certain that the beads are made of solid wood painted with non-toxic paint. Well, no, the beads are plastic, and a couple of them have something dark melted together into the light colored plastic. I am EXTREMELY disappointed, not at all what I would have expected from HAPE!!!

This is lightweight and a fun toy for my 8 month old to shake and play with. He loses interest fairly quickly, but he pretty much does that with every toy (unlike the power cords or dog water dish that he seems to try to get to all day).

My daughter doesn't care about toys much. She's 16 months, and toys don't keep her attention for long, but as soon as I showed her this, an excited ooooooooh, came out of her mouth (has never happened before). I let her see it for a minute, but took it back (cause it's a car ride toy for an upcoming long trip, and I want the toys to be new and exciting) and She cried and cried. So I just know this one is gonna be a hit!

This is a great toy for a child right around 1 years old. We thought it would be a little bigger like those huge ones that you see in dentist waiting rooms, but this one is significantly smaller so pay attention to the measurements before ordering. With that said, it's still good enough to hold a child's interest, which is all that matters.
