I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the magnifying glass, and the size of it.
This worked great for my Great Grandma when she reads a book or magazine with small print.

I ordered this Jumbo Magnifying Glass from Golden Sun Brands because I needed something lightweight and simple to read very fine print on small collectable coins, and to keep around the workbench. It works great for these purposes!It's made of a light but strong black plastic, and the lens is nearly 5" in diameter, which provides a HUGE field of view. It's wide enough that you can look through it with both eyes to maintain depth perception while using it to examine small treasures.
It's also nice because the focus stays sharp at just about any distance from the object you want to view from 1" out to the length of your arm. (Yes, you can old it that far away and still see sharp, clear images.)
This is a lot better than heavy glass/metal magnifying glasses that cost more for normal use, around the shop, reading fine print, pulling out slivers, sewing or reading, this one's the champ!

I keep a couple of magnifying glasses around the house. My eyes are getting worse and the print on some packages is getting smaller. I like this one because it's a good size and it's light because it's all plastic and no glass. I ordered this great light weight magnifying glass for myself and my husband.This is a great tool for seniors in the ongoing battle with teeny tiny print which is frustrating and sometimes dangerous.
