Got this as a gift for my daughter. Shipped from China bound in layers of foam wrap and packing tape. Imediately concerned about the contents inside such flimsy packaging. Came with directions in English which was good. Requires 4 AA and 2 AAA bateries for use. It can mount on the wall or celing as you wish. The remote is a little tricky and requires an extended click/press to change the phases or turn it off. When on 'auto' the Moon will cycle through all phases at 6 second intervals. The Moon itself looks better when lit in the dark as the details are a bit murky, it looks considerably distorted compaired with the inset picture. I'm sure my little one will love it though.

I placed it on the wall of my 2-year-old daughter. She uses it as a night light, and we also use it as a learning tool to speak of things that she sees in the night sky. GREAT product! I'll be getting the Earth version of this for my younger daughter.
