We bought several sets of these for the dementia care home where my grandfather lives. He immediately enjoyed arranging them and setting up structures. The workers there love that they don't make any noise that upsets the residents, and the residents all seem to love working with the blocks.

These blocks are GREAT! Bought them for my year old grandson. He loves them. They stack well. He is now begining to stack them himself. He could probably fit some of them in his mouth, but I belive they are still to big to choke on. My 3 year old granddaughter enjoys them too and has built all kinds of things with them.

I'm very happy with this purchase so far. My boys (ages 3 and 1) enjoy playing with these daily. The biggest concerns that I have with them is that my 1 year old can bite the block and break out a chunk of it that could pose as a choking hazard.

This is a great product for your child who likes to chew on things. They are a good toy too because he likes it when I build things for him with them and he can knock them down. I use to worry about wooden blocks and him getting hurt on the edges but these take care of that. They look like wood in the way they were formed but much better in design and weight.

Size of blocks is about right for 2s and 3s. Would prefer to have an equal mix of the various sizes and colours instead of many small cubes and only 2 tall cylinders.
