We love veggie tales and the little drummer boy movie. When the movie is on this drum is around my daughters neck drumming away. We did cut the drum sticks off the strings because the attached string just got in the way. We also super glued the drum lid and bottom on so our daughter could not take them on and off any more. All in all this was an awesome investment and our daughter loves it.

Great toy for a toddler but the sticks are attached when purchased but come off easily. Since this is a toddler toy this is rather disappointing, Attaching the sticks seems to be a good idea, but toddlers are resourceful and can remove the sticks. Perhaps a more sturdy method of keeping them attached would work?
