We got this set for Christmas in 2005. We started out rough, by actually spilling all of the water right before we were to add the second pouch. We decided to replace the water, wait 24hrs and go ahead and add the second pouch. We have had Sea Monkeys ever since then! They really are amazing little critters! We have seen them swim all around like they were high on life. We've seen them mate and also seen them die. We always have the whole life cycle right in the little tank, from pinpoint size to about an inch, they are impressive! We have never used the suction thing or put them in the travel egg, seems a bit cruel to me?? We enjoy them in the tank just fine. Good luck with yours, and don't give up, they are hearty little guys/gals.

Sea-Monkeys've Been Around for some long time Now but None-the-less they are still fun to raise and a good science project for kids as they get to watch those pets whole life-cycle's , But this Sea-Bubble Product is even more amazing with the Sea-Bubble included inside the kit ,You can use it to carry your sea-monkeys with you and it doesnt leak or anything and good enough for sea-monkeys just remeber not to keep them there for too long :D

I'm a college student living in a dormitory. With classes, jobs, and other things I don't have very much time for taking care of a pet. The sea monkeys are great because they were easy on my budget, they don't violate any dorm policies, and they are EXTREMELY low maintenance. I'd recommend sea monkeys for any college kid or busy high schooler that wants a pet but doesn't have much time.
