the one negative the frogs are a bit small, and we lost one after playing three times. but we now take turns with the three remaining frogs.

I usually LOVE Peaceable Kingdom's toys, especially the cooperative play ones, but this one was really hard to operate, even for adults. The flippers are really impossible to aim, even with practice, and really young kids get bored with it very fast because it is frustrating for them. It's very well made, as are all toys from this company, and it's very attractive visually, but it's just too dog gone hard to get good at, and you have to make sure you do it on a smooth surface. On a table, the flipper keeps flipping frogs off the table, and on a floor, you cannot use it on carpeting at all. This is a terrific game that uses catapults to 'launch the frogs' into different pond elements. Our three and a half year old loves playing the game, even if the frogs 'jump' all over the place and it takes a lot of practice to learn to launch them. We love this game, as it teaches so many thingscounting, cooperation, art design it's my 5 year old's favorite game.I love it because it's beautiful in design, and not all kids toys are.
