The happy page text reads: The sun is out. It's time to play. With the word Happy in bold and the picture shows the sun out and Tad being happy. When you turn to this page Tad says "Happy; I'm feeling happy". Then a song is played. The song for happy is: "The sun is out. It's time to play. I wear a smile on a happy day. Hooray! Feelings are special; feelings are real. I like sharing the way I feel." If you press the music button while turned to this page the song If You're Happy and You Know It will play.
The next page shows a sad tad. The text reads: My ice cream fell! It's on the ground! The word Sad is in bold under the text and the picture shows Tad with his ice cream falling to the ground. Tad says "Sad, I'm feelings sad." Then sings: "My ice cream fell! It's on the ground. My face is sad and it wears a frown. O Feelings are special; feelings are read. I liek sharing the way I feel." The last page shows Tad sleepy. The text reads: I close my eyes and snuggle in bed. The word sleepy is under the text and the picture shows Tad reading a book with his teddybear. Tad says "Sleepy. I'm feelings sleepy." Then sings: "The goodnight stories have all been read; I close my eyes and snuggle in bed. Oooohhh. Feelings are special; feelings are real. I like sharing the way I feel." If you press the music button while turned to this page the song If You're Sleepy and You Know It will play.
Our nine month old daughter really likes this toy. She loves turning the pages and hearing the familiar songs and phrases. I think this is a wonderful introduction to feelings for little ones! Highly recommended :)

This is a great little Tad for babies. My son also has the Hug and Learn Baby Tad, but it is a little big for his hands right now. This is the perfect size for him! The pages are easy to turn and the different songs and faces about feelings (happy, sad and sleepy) are great!! This is a toy that will be around for years to come. I bought this right after my daughter was born and figured she would grow into it. She's now a year old and has never really shown any interest in it. She's very active and would rather be doing something else.
