I am an adult who uses this guitar when I travel. The small size makes it portable. I have larger guitars to include some name brands and certainly (although it does contain some sort of adjustable truss bar which surprised me at this price rage)this guitar is not of that quality; however, it sounds great for what i need it for. The price is easy on the budget for someone who wants to play the guitar and not break the bank. You will definitely like the sound. The strings were a bit on the thicker size so i switched out to 0.010 80/20 bronze and placed higher quality bridge pins. The sound quality improvement was quite excellent but the switch is hardly necessary. In the old days they called these parlor guitars and they still have their place in the guitar world.

Nice quality guitar for the price. The steel strings stay tuned much better than nylon strings. This is great size for my son (and me too).

This is a great guitar! I am amazed at the sound. For the price I wasn't expecting much, but my son really wanted a blue guitar. Of all the cheaper blue guitars available, this was the highest quality. A lot of the others look like classical guitars that they just put steel strings on instead of nylon strings, but with a standard bridge for nylon strings instead of the pins that hold the strings in on steel string guitars. This guitar was also smaller than a lot of other guitars that were listed as 3/4 size. This one is 36" long which is a great size for a child (mine's 9yo) and even for an adult. Most others were 38" which is only 3 inches shorter than a full size guitar. The only negative is the color, not blue like in the photo or box, but a dark teal green. So, my kid didn't get the blue guitar he wanted, but it still looks really good, sounds great and he's happy so we never thought of returning it. I picked this guitar over others for reasons above and I wanted to make sure we didn't just end up with a toy that looked like a guitar, but a real guitar. I made the best choice. It wouldn't compare to a high quality guitar, but for the price, sound and playability I'm almost tempted to get one for myself! Definitely recommend for a child's first guitar, or an adult's travel or extra guitar.
