I ordered this product to help my daughter with a science class assignment. It was delivered quickly and was easy for my child to assemble and decorate. The plastic ends do not fit snugly, however this was resolved by wrapping the cylinder ends with duct tape before putting the black plastic ends in place. My daughter got an A+ so I give 4 stars.

I used these for a science camp project. The kids could build the telescope themselves. First I let them decorate the tubes to make it their own. Then we put the lenses and lens caps on. (The lens caps are a little loose and so we used packing tape to keep them in place). The telescope works really well for an inexpensive kit like this. I will buy them again.

We purchased this for my daughter's homeschool unit on astronomy. This was easy to assemble, and did magnify things to some extent. It helped my daughter understand the parts of a Galleon telescope.
