These cards are not the standard playing card size, which makes them a little awkward to use, but can also be helpful if you are working with multiple children at a time. They are well made with great colors and expressions. Many of the young children I've worked with find it difficult to distinguish between some of the more complex emotions on these cards (i.e. hysterical, lovestruck, smug, cautious, ecstatic, etc). I have found it helpful to pull out just the more simple, basic emotions that young children are familiar with (happy, sad, mad, scared, embarrassed, etc). When I've used the cards with teenagers it is easier to use them all.

Thanks for a portable play therapy product! It really helps kids talk about feelings and then learn to cope with them in a useful way.

Was disappointed as I didn't expect so many cards in different languages. I was hoping for more feelings faces cards to work on feeling identification in my therapy sessions with clients.

I found this useful in classes offered to children of parents with mental illness. I liked the size for use with a group
