I have used these cards in a math class for developmentally disabled teenagers and they loved it. The cards show a child doing a simple task in order. We put all of the pieces out at once and asked students to put them together as fast as they could, which required them to think about the steps in order to properly sequence the activity. For the price, it is a great tool for learning.

I've used this with my own child (4 yr old) and with various pre-K kids that I tutor. Most children follow the puzzle to get the cards together, not really paying any attention to the sequence of the story. It would be better as just plain cards that you have to put in order (which I think this company also sells so get those much better for actually sequencing).

I am glad I purchased these sequencing cards because they have been helpful with my Autism students with their sequencing abilities and forming complete sentences telling the story in its sequential order. The cards are a bit small for what I would want but I am satisfied with the product.

These are great for beginners or as story prompts for retell/sequencing. However since they connect with jigsaw puzzle ends, it's obvious which is the middle piece and which are the respective end pieces. Not the best tool for assessing whether a child can actually sequence independently.
