Purchased this for my daughters' first birthday this past July. She loves it! She already repeats the sounds of some letters. The magnetic letters are very durable. We even wash them and they do just fine. The docking station for the letters sticks to the fridge great!

You can get this item for $19.97 at wal-mart. Be careful of the prices on here. It is a great toy, my daughter loves all of these.

I recently purchased one of these toys for my toddler age daughter who is learning the alphabet. She would sing the song as a combination of E's and I's with the occasional W thrown in. She wanted others to sing the alphabet song repeatedly so she could sing along with them. She also took letters from a puzzle and would want us to tell her what they were.

This toy sings the alphabet song and tells her what the letters are and what sounds they make. She can start the song, put in a letter and have it tell her about the letter mid song so this toy helps her learn at her speed and rate. It is a high interest toy that she wants to play with. It is nice for her to have a toy like this so that she an work on her learning while I am trying to get dinner on the table or otherwise cannot give her full undivided attention.

After the first day, my daughters alphabet song began including five more letters than before she used the toy.

This was recommended to me by a friend who is a school teacher and has a set for her two children. her four year old still enjoys using this toy sometimes and it reinforces what he knows. Her toddler child is using it to learn her letters now. My friend has had hers for over 3 years and this toy has held up well to her children playing with it.

We keep this on the refrigerator & my son plays with it every day. He loves to sing along with the ABCs. The magnets are nice & strong.
