I use this for my kindergartener and first grader for homeschooling purposes. I like that they can see where things are in relation to where we are. I also use it to demonstrate the tilt of the Earth and seasons. I got this one that is inflatable because space is limited and I like to be able to just let the air out and put it away when we arent using it. The globe is large enough to see the names of rivers and countries. For our purposes, this is a perfect globe.

The packaging and instructions were a bit confusing. You might waste some breath before you realize you have to pinch the valve to get it to inflate. This may be obvious to inflatable enthusiasts, but I would have appreciated a reminder. Nevertheless the product is great, it is richly detailed and competently assembled.

We bought this for an adoption photo. We adopted our son from China and wanted a photo with him holding the globe with our hands making a heart around China. I was pleasantly surprised that graphics were as clear as they were. It was less expensive than buying a real globe and my kids had a blast throwing it around after our photo shoot.

i have always loved globes, but this one is portable, fun, and not at all intimidating. easy to read and just the right size. slip in in your backpack or case for travel. give it to your favorite kid. it's great.
