I bought these for my son when he was 6 months old. I think they were a great choice because he couldn't really stack them yet, but he could still have fun with them by shaking them and making noise. The sounds are very pleasant unlike some of the plastic light-up noisy toys on the market. They still hold his interest now that he is 11 months and will blend nicely into a larger set of building blocks when he is a little older.

We bought these blocks for our two year old and infant son to play with. They are really cute and come in a wooden crate to store them. Kind of a shape-sorter toy too. Only the colored blocks make noise, however. The natural wooden blocks are nice though. Wonderworld toys are nice sincethey make their toys with plant-based, non-toxic parts! We love that there are different shapes (circles, triangles, rectangles) in addition to the regular square blocks in this set. It says that the blocks are for children over 24 months old, but they don't appear to have any chocking hazard. A must for your starter block collection!

Super smooth blocks that feel nice (so smooth) with lovely sounds. You don;t get many with the set so plan on mixing them up with standard wooden blocks.

Nowhere in the packaging does it say that the paints used are non toxic. I was going to return them to Amazon First I checked on the manufacturer web site and thankfully, their toys are made from eco-friendly materials and all paints are water-based, non-toxic and safe for children.

I got this for my son when he was about 8 months old and he is almost 1 now. This has been one of his favorite toys and it still is one of his faves. Well made and should be able to hold for next child. It is true that only the colored blocks make sounds. I don't mind that. I rated it a 4 and not 5 because the paint on the colored blocks scuffs off onto the unpainted natural wood when my son plays with it, making it look slightly dinky after a few months. Wonderworld should paint the blocks with paint that doesn't come off! He has also scuffed up our wall once or twice this way(though I was able to easily wipe off). Overall, I would recommend.
