My 20 month old daughter loves this toy. She is so happy with herself when she puts the apples in the small bowls herself. It is really helping to develop her fine motor skills, and patience. The small pieces may be a chocking hazard so small children need to be supervised.

Overall the activity toy was a little small and the colors were off on the apples. Instead of being bright red, they were a very dark brown red. (Too dark for apples and not like in the photo.)

The carving quality was very nice however and my daughter does enjoy the activity.

Great for Montessori! The tiniest fruits and bowls ever :) Great for fine motor skills. I like to have my 3 yr. old son place the bowls all the way around the big bowl for counting and motor control practice, and then transfer each fruit the appropriate way from the large bowl to the smaller and back again. Comes in a little natural cloth drawstring bag. Very natural toy; all wood/linen. Nice quality and even nicer price :)
