This is a great stacking toy. Each ring has two holes, with one on the center and an offset hole (except for top green ring and "wind mill"). This makes it easier for "beginners" to stack as they have more chance of getting the hole lined up with the pole. My 8 month old can't stack them yet (although he tries) but uses the extra hole to stick his finger in to pick up the rings easier. Also, the pole has a great safety feature by being tightly attached by a stretchy cord so it "collapses" over if fallen on. Overall a great toy that seems to have a lot of thought put into the quality and safety.
