I bought the whole chart/cards set and it has worked wonders for my 4yr old son. He loves being able to put is stars up at the end of the day! We were having alot of behavior issues at school, but since we have gotten the chart, he has made a 180 in behavior in and out of school!! Perfect for little ones prior to starting school and during those early years. We are VERY pleased with this product:)

Maybe I misread the description, but I though these would be pieces that could be used independently, like flash cards. They are not, they are super small, you have to hand hold them to read them. The are not flat, they have a nub on the back with velcro to stick on the mat that you can get to put them on. I personally think they're too small to be helpful or interesting to young children.
