I have a ADHD and sensory processing disorder preschooler and it is really difficult to find any effective discipline, but while I was searching for a chore chart I came across this one and it's been amazing! We've been using it for 2 months now and it's changed my child's challenging behavior around. He cleans up adter himself, shares, cleans the house our of the blue, puts his laundry away, etc. He does lose starts sometimes for climbing the fence, running away from the yard, etc. It also regulates what his goals are and he surprises me sometimes with what he chooses. Excellent product and I'd recommend this to anyone with kids!

Our 4 year old loves his reward chart. Before we had the chart his bad behavior resulted in only a time-out. Now that he can earn and lose starts for his actions he knows that his behavior has consequences. He likes the fact he can keep track of his stars and earn prizes, etc... When he has a really good day and earns many stars he is proud of himself. When he's having a bad day, we let him know how many stars he did earn, how many lost and that tomorrow is a new day and that he'll do better. The quality of this chart is pretty good. Is it worth $30? No not really, but it you're paying for the convenience of having to make your own. The cards that come with it are ok, but it would be nice to have more. We need to take the time to either purchase more cards or make some that fit our household.
The bottom pocket that holds the extra behavior cards, reward cards and stars is not well designed. It will bow out and the boxes will fall. This is a quick fix with safety pins. I took 2 safety pins divided the pocket into 3 sections. Now everything stays in place.
Another downside is that there are holes on top to hang the chart but no hooks. I "borrowed" a couple hooks from my door shoe rack and viola! The chart comes with some type of velcro/scotch adhesive, but I wanted to hang from the door instead.
