I did not buy this item but own one.
I wish it worked.
I opened the package and gripped the bottom with my hand. Unfortunately, my hands are not hot enough to make the liquid "boil". I do know it works because my friend can make it boil.
It is a very good item overall. Just be aware it may not work if your hands are not hot enough.
