Awesome packaging. It has snap buttons on the top of the sturdy cardboard "milk carton" style box that is perfect for storage. These adorable farm animals are all over our fridge, dishwasher and filing cabinets. What's especially cool is that most of the animals have a male, female and baby, so you can teach rooster, hen and chicks, or bull, cow, calf. Includes a farmer, bales of hay, bucket of apples and a laughing donkey :) My little 1 1/2 year old loves pulling them off the fridge, and has figured out how to get them back on. Good magnet strength, and the magnets are sheet style, di-cut to match the wooden shape, so there is no little pieces to come unglued or get swallowed.

We purchased these magnets as a distraction for my toddler in the kitchen. He often hangs out while I'm doing dishes and needed something to keep him occupied. These magnets fit the bill perfectly! They are easy to pull off and the solid black back makes it easy for him to know which side to stick on the fridge. The animals come in family groupings (i.e. a rooster, a hen, some chicks) and look very nice. As he gets older, he's starting to want to know about the sounds and names of the animals. I see these as being very educational in the future, but for now, he just has a good time with them. They are also enjoyed by our 2 year-old neighbor, who likes to transfer them from the fridge to the dishwasher and back.

The facing on these is paper, so if you have an active teether/chewer, they won't hold up. We established early that these were not to be chewed on and took them away as soon as he started. A few times of that and now he just plays with them. So, as long as you're vigilant, they are a great toy for youngsters.

I was looking forward to giving this to my nephew for his birthday, but I was extremely disappointed with this product. I received it today and I am now returning it. It was not made well, the black edges if the magnets were peeling off and the wood was chipping off on some of them. I do not feel comfortable giving this to my nephew. They are really cute but it's a shame I cannot give this to him.

Got these for my 4-yr old son who loves farm animals. They are very cute and there is a good variety in the 30 piece set. He loves to lay them out on the table and play just as much as using them on the fridge!
