I was able to start my 5 year old with the Level A, and my 9 year old with the Level C. That being said, we've purchased all the levels now. Although this level is very challenging, our older daughter is able to do it.
The book is quite lengthy so that you truly feel as if you got your money's worth. The answers are in the back if you get stuck!
I much prefer the cross out method that the Perplexors use to solve the puzzles to the grid system that has been used previously in logic puzzles. I find it to be more clear and easier to keep track of.
As a former public school teacher and now homeschooling mom, I really couldn't recommend this series more highly. Solvable by kids and tough enough for parents!

Great product; my 9 year-old loves it; have been doing these with him for last couple of months. His logic and ability to analyze and eliminate is boosted big-time. Now, he feels this is not challenging enough for him, and prefers to labor through the Expert Level. Have shown to his teachers who are impressed. i first saw perplexors in a gifted and talented class and have been addicted to them ever since. you never know who will master what puzzles on what levels--genius!And if you like these, i definatley reccomend stories with holes

Perplexors are fun! We enjoy doing the puzzles together. It is a good logic strengthener and builder. Fun fun fun!
