WE bought these for a huge magnet board which my wife built for our 2-year-old daughter. Our little one loves the Very Hungry Caterpillar and other Carle books, so she loves these. They seem well-built and the cardboard box with snaps on the top is also durable and very handy for storage. Would buy again.

I have really enjoyed reading Eric Carle with my 15 month old, and finding out he wrote more than The Very HUngry Caterpillar.

When I saw these I just had to get them, more for me than my daughter!

Lovely designs, and full back magnet not small attachments that can fall out. Layered paper/wood cut outs. Safe non toxic vegetable based inks.

My daughter has not chewed them but I guess they would sustain some damage if you had a chewy child.

My son has recently been facinated with magnets, so we purchased this for his 1st birthday. We have placed them on our fridge for him to play with while we're in the kitchen or out on the back porch. I was a little shocked by the size of the magnets I anticapted they would be bigger than they are. I had to move a few higher up on the frigde so he can't get to them because I think they are just too small for a 1 year old to play with. The larger magnets (they are all different sizes depending on the type of animal) are better sizes. The box they come in is nice and could probably be used to store the magents or something else. The magents themselves are wonderful, as they represent a ton of animals in the colorful Eric Carle signature way.
