Not like a toy...but like a 'big people piano' for little ones. We got the pink one for our little budding princess pianist, but I bet the black looks even more 'real'. She loves it and it looks nice. It is actually sitting in our music room and we have had so many comments on it by company during the holidays. Santa did well.

I have a music background and hoped my daughter would have an interest in music, too. The kiddie toy pianos and other instruments often grate on me because they have such poor sound quality and are so easily out of tune. This was a stretch for me to buy as a single mom, but I'm so glad I did! It has such a pleasant sound to it-the chimes are soft and never hard on the ears. I helped her to learn simple songs on this, and she enjoyed just sitting down and tinkering with it.

My daughter loved playing this for about 3 years... at 6, she's finally outgrown it and has moved on to a keyboard, but it's hard to part with this. It's one of my favorite purchases I ever made for her.

Adorable! It's definitely a toy; with the looks of a piano. The tune is way off from a piano, but it's still fun to play. The color is more of a hot pink.

In additon, it comes with a play book and it was easy to assemble (15 mins).

My 4yr. old grand daughter loved this baby grand piano which arrived in perfect time for her birthday!

It was put together easily and seems quite sturdy even for her 6 year old brother to use. It has a good

enough sound and it is a good beginners piano for a 3-7 yr. old.

Purchased this for our 3 year old daughter and she loves it.

Pros:

It was easy to assemble and it looks great.

Full sized keys makes it easy for adults to play along with child.

Booklet and key guide are great for learning.

Cons:

Not perfectly in tune, some keys sound off.

Keys are plastic and not very rounded on the edges so it's hard to slide you finger down the keys easily.

Keys feel kind of loose

I would recommend it though, she's played on it several times for since we got it a few days ago and spend a good amount of time on it.
