LeapFrog Explorer Disney The Princess and The Frog Learning Game Reviews
This is the second Princess and the Frog game that I have bought, the first was for the v motion. They are both boring. My daughter only will play this for a few minutes before going back to the included pet game. I played it to see what was on there and I believe this one would be good for the younger than 5 year olds that play on the explore. A school aged child will likely have these skills or would be working on them like my daughter. Although I did like the cooking game that teaches different number concepts it is still kind of boring and does not hold my daughters attention. She will be 6 in March. I am considering changing the grade level to 1st just to see if it will get more interesting for her but not all of the games offer the chance to change the grade level. I know its supposed to get harder as you go along and I really wanted this to reinforce what she is learning at school but if it can't hold her attention long enough then she will never get to that point. Im probably going to sell this one or save it for when my niece gets an explorer. The kailan(sp), Tinkerbell, and Rapunzel game all look promising judging from the reviews and concepts covered which is what I should have paid more attention to in the first place. So she will be getting Rapunzel and kailan next saving Tinkerbell for when she has a handle on the kailan one. BTW on the box it lists the skills as counting, addition, subtraction, and phonics skills 4-7 pre-k-1st grade
