My 5 year old son has severe autism with sensory integration disorders causing him to want to chew everything. He chews on this instead. Be sure to introduce this to your child slowly: let them handle it; lay it out in plain view; have it close to him/her while they are looking at books. It took my son 2 weeks of getting use to it before he would chew on it.

I wanted to say that this has helped my daughter, who at the age of 2 is still on baby food. She will chew on this and allow me to put chunkier baby foods in her mouth afterwards. We have only had it for a month and it is wonderful for the small success.

This device is a good price, but it is smaller than I thought.

It is about the size of the palm of your hand.

I have to really watch my son when he bites it, because he likes to stick the whole thing in his mouth, and I fear that it will get lodged in his throat.

I recommend parents to really watch their kids when they are biting this.

It is good to carry my son over between meals.
