I bought the turbo twist spelling for my daughter for Christmas, it came with a PC connector where you can download her personal spelling list from class. She was always a A & B student but found this years spelling to be challenging. I have to tell you she is getting A+ on each exam! I love this product and have recommended it to all of her friends parents! Get this educational toy!!

I bought the turbo twist spelling for my eight year old son. He usually has his head stuck into either the tv, game boy or nintendo as much as he can get away with. But with his new turbo twist all of those activities has lessened and he constantly is picking up the turbo twist. It is so nice now not to have to limit one of his favorite activities. I'm interested in seeing if there will be an improvement in his spelling but for now I couldn't be happier with the toy. I was able to down load his school spelling list with ease.

We gave the set to our son for Chanukah and he loves to play with it. He only wishes that it could be played in the dark car or at night. Having the Mind Station with it ehances his spelling words from school. I only wish that it could hold more spelling words on each cartridge or that the 2MB cartridge would hold more than the 1/2 MB cartridge.

I bought this for my son and even with out a cartridge the toy works! Has built in stuff and games to do. We have not yet used mind station or a cartridge but plan to within the month. I was bumbed out that there was no AC adapted with the toy and will be running out to get one. My son loves this soo much that I had to give him head phones so he could play with out disturbing others. The sound is adjustable but it can be tough to hear what words are being said if you have other noises around you. So since switching to head phones he has no problems at all.

Great educational toy which our 6yr old who doesn't like school work loves. Haven't been able to connect the MindStation because Amazon has sent me a serial version rather than a USB version. I didn't know there were 2 versions. There are no serial ports on my laptop. I have bought a serial to USB connector, but I still cannot get a connection and do not know where the problem lies. When I can link to the MindStation to enter his weekly spelling lists I can write a broader review.
