It worked really well until I used the relay to hook it up to another board, so when i snapped my fingers it would power on the other board. It was probably my fault though. I think I burned out a transistor.

I was really surprised by the quality of this kit; it has a general explanation of how the kit works (if you know Logic that is), and introductions to resistors, capacitors, transistors labeling, it also has this entire page of where to EXACTLY place components. That is really useful because I have in the past mixed diodes with other diodes and capacitors with other capacitors while using kits before, but this time, hopefully I won't.

The downside is that the whole purpose of this kit, which is to switch other circuits by clapping your hands is kinda not easily achieved, because a relay is not included in this kit. Can you believe it? No Battery, I can understand, but no RELAY? Anyway I have found a DPDT with their specifications, hope it works. It can be found at Jameco or Future Electronics. So the downside for me because I want to switch two circuits is that I have to buy this relay, and let my craftsmanship deal with the situation because the Kit's PCB was not designed for a DPDT but a SPST ( which you can find at Jameco by the way ). Still I recommend this kit because of all the effort made to help you put it together right ( even the picture is exact and kinda to-scale ).
