This case is okay and the color is nice (though slightly darker than pictured) but not nearly as well made as the skin made by LeapFrog. This is very thin and flimsy; not much thicker than a couple sheets of paper. It fits the LeapPad 2 but it is so thin that the back easily comes up and I figure this will allow for debris to get behind the skin very easily. That will lead of course to scuffs and scratches as well as what ever nasty germs may come along with it. You could easily take this case and roll it up. The skin made by LeapFrog is much thicker and has pieces on the side where the stylus is attached to the LeapPad that connects the front and back of the skin on the side. This one does not; on the stylus side of the LeapPad this skin is only attached at the corners. I can see this getting ripped and stretched very quickly. If your child is younger this will be very easy for them to remove rendering it useless. Since the LeapFrog skin is thicker it is more rigid so my 4 year old doesn't even really think about it being there because it doesn't move or stretch.

If you are a Prime Member it is only a few dollars more to get the skin made by LeapFrog and have it delivered in just 2 days (though I did notice the price was recently raised a little). If you're not, it is still only a few dollars more than this one. They offer colors other than green, including blue (which from what I've read is more like an aqua), if that is what you are looking for.

In my opinion, skip this one and just get the gel skin made by LeapFrog. If you've had one of the LeapFrog LeapPad skins in the past and then order this one as a replacement or addition you are likely to be disappointed in this one.

My son loves that he can have a Blue Leappad rather than a green one. Its easy toput on and take off and sits well on the device. its also very easy to clean

does't fit too securly. very thin. i put it on my childs leappad..she took it off and i havent found it !
